Boarding Service
Vegas Friends of Guinea Pig Rescue offers boarding for your guinea pigs- whether you adopted from us or not! Included in your piggies' stay are the daily veggies, Oxbow pellets, orchard hay and a nail trim upon request! No need to bring the enclosure. Your babies will be housed in an appropriate enclosure (2x3, Midwest or 2x4 depending on how many in the party!)
- If medications are needed, that is included with no extra cost.
- If your piggie is on a particular diet other than the one I described above, please make sure to bring enough to last for their stay.

Boarding Policies

- All boarding fees MUST be paid ahead of time - this is to ensure that you pick up your baby! Payment can be made by Zelle or Venmo.
- If you abandon your guinea pig(s), fully expect to be reported to the appropriate law enforcement jurisdiction as abandoning an animal is illegal in the state of Nevada. Your information will also be shared with other rescues/boarding facilities to add to their Do Not Service/Adopt List.
- Your guinea pig(s) will be housed at the Director's home, there is typically 24 hour supervision there. If your pet has medical issues, there will be a camera placed above the enclosure so there is 24 hour monitoring.
- If you need to extend your stay, please let us know 24 hours in advance if possible. A $5 per additional night fee will be added.
- All pets must be free of acute illnesses, mites, ringworm and other contagious diseases unless prior arrangements are made for isolation boarding. Additional fee applies and only if space permits.
